Laidback Luke @ Avalon

The highlight of my weekend was seeing Laidback Luke spin this Saturday at Avalon. For those of you not familiar with the venue, Avalon is a huge EDM club in the heart of Hollywood. It’s old, but has character and it’s been attracting quite the talent lately.

Laidback Luke started his set around 1 a.m. which meant I had to pace myself with the alcoholic beverages. There was to be no forgetting the night for me. LBL didn’t fail to disappoint, playing one of the longest sets I have ever been to! The crowd definitely got their moneys worth. He played all his classics (Show me Love, Heartbreaker), his new material (Speak-Up, Turbulence) and everything in between. I of course broke my video camera (insert potential sponsor here), so we’re stuck with the crappy version from my phone. Sorry guys! BUT to make it up to you, I’ve embedded a LBL remix to Calvin Harris’ “You Used to Hold Me”.  Shout out to Jesse, my wingman for the night!
